Woke up feeling so much better today. The low key Sunday and rest really did pay off. Nausea appeared gone and I was up early, and feeling great. So, I decided to head into work and see the API team. Felt great on hour long drive… enjoying some music and a quick work call. As I walked into the building, I started to feel off. Can't describe it other than I felt hot and clammy, and just off. Continue to have the feeling drunk and hungover at the same time, but today I had a harder time focusing. Stupid chemo brain! No seriously, it's a real thing. I still don't know what it is… but I'm starting to get a feeling.
I'm glad I went into work, but did struggle a bit through parts of the day. The best part at the end was finally catching up with one the API employees who is a breast cancer survivor. We've been trying connect for weeks, and it was so wonderful to finally have some time to talk to her. She's the second breast cancer survivor I've connected with at my new work home. The API team has been amazing through this and it's comforting to know others in the office have gone through this. Somehow this helps me feel more comfortable about when I shave my head.
