Day 3 … and the last day the anti-nausea meds they gave me via IV and one of my take-home meds end. I was worried about Sunday, fearing my body would be one of the ones that nausea would last past the 3 day norm. I was wrong. Nausea has been ok… but it was a very low energy day. I had to walk around the house in circles, to get in the 2,500 steps I could manage. Just couldn't imagine getting outside for the walk… which was sad. Logically I know exercise will bring more energy, but today my brain couldn't convince my body to get there.
I'm sure I'm worn out from the lovely evening we had at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center Ball. The low energy today was worth the evening. I'm not sure I've ever been to a proper black tie event before. I sure wish I would have had time to get a proper outfit together, but also appreciate that Heather and I were able to pull something together in a pinch. The best part is I never would have normally dressed so much like a guy, and would have struggled to decide dress or no dress. This made the decision easy, since the best choice in my wardrobe was reusing some of my 1920's New Year's party costume.
All in all … today wasn't a bad day, just a low energy day.
